Regenerate
I wait, wait for the sun to rise,
someday sun will rise
And look at what has happened around this world
And see
My heart paralyzed with sadness.
I listen to the wind that crosses the roses
I count those stars in the sky
I wait for sun to rise
I’ve grown up, I am no more in that dreamy world
The sun rises, but sun will set,
Sunlight’s gone
Happiness is frail,
I accept it with a peaceful heart
No more rancorous thought
Jealousy has vanished, when and how?
I don’t even notice
Happiness, rancor and jealousy will disappear
Into nihility
Just as I will someday disappear.
Tomorrow, when sunlight arrives
Happiness will soon be over
It’s the moment of goodbye,
But I will smile,
I know I will start my new life
Life is unjust.
My smile is still there, on my lips.
The sunlight shining in my heart,
Obliterates your footprints in my soul.
I have never forgotten those early mornings, before sunrise
I never expected much, would never disappoint
When dew lands on those leaves, I melt with sunlight.
When birds sing their morning song, I disperse in their melodies.
someday sun will rise
And look at what has happened around this world
And see
My heart paralyzed with sadness.
I listen to the wind that crosses the roses
