Scrapmetal Wire

I can not complain
Or worry
About love not lost
Not gained
Pure feeling at any cost
Tin like plastic in form
ice cream like
Melting in the rain
The only way is not of the norm
For whatever that is
That normal thing
That makes girls quiver
And men sing
That normal adjustment
 of life
when you look at me so polite
but burning somewhere
a flame, a spark of
sexual tension to light
it goes as it goes
round and round
a carousel of desire
smiles stoking the fire
and bodies entangled, entwined
like scrapmetal wire.
