Seasonal Changes
Like a tree in springwe start out as buds
yearning to become leaves.
In summer we flourish
soaking up the sunlight
with absorbing passion.
In fall we transform
alienating our brothers
by position and color.
In winter we equalize
mounds withered and brown
at the mercy of the wind.
