    Silent Moment

    In a moment of silence
    I search for peace
    I know exist inside
    In silence
    Frustration begins to build
    A volcano ready to erupt
    A climax moment
    Despair ready to explode
    Anger is unleashed a fury
I can't seem to control the world outside
The baby, crying across the hall
Then it comes a flash of light the volcano has
    erupted inside
I feel the heat running through my veins
    Then peace comes
    Now I understand
    One must burn inside
    Before peace can be realized

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
