Somebody prayed for me
When I came into this world
as i grew from a baby to a little girl
when i felt like it was me against the world
somebody prayed for me
When i was down to my last dime
when i thought i was losing my mind
wishing i could turn back the hands of time
somebody prayed for me
As i traveled on the dangerous roads
while carrying a heavy load
and thinking about the lies people told
somebody prayed for me
So now i am saying to you
when you are down or feeling blue
just remember
somebody is praying for you
