Someone

Sometimes in life, you find a special someone.
When you weren't even looking for them,
there that someone just magically appeared.
If you had been looking for them,
you would surly have just passed them by.
Someone who changes your life so much,
just by being there and being a part of it.
Someone whom you share all things with.
The keeper of your secrets and fears.
The possessor of your desires and fantasies.
Someone who knows all your flaws and imperfections
and yet excepts you with open arms, exactly as you are.
Someone who teaches you how to love again
and that it is alright to allow yourself to be loved.
Someone who takes your doubts and makes them disappear.
Someone who you can't imagine your life without because,
they have
left their footprints so deeply across your heart.
Someone who makes you smile and laugh.
Someone who will hold you tight and
wipe your tears away when you cry.
Someone who makes you believe once again
that there really is good in the world,
even when you have already lost all hope.
Someone who convinces you that there really
is more out there, if you just seek it.
Someone who gives you faith to believe in yourself.
Someone who gives you courage and a voice
to stand up and fight for what is right.
Someone who gives you hope again after it was lost.
Someone who can unlock a locked door
you thought was tightly secured around your heart.
Someone who you know with out a doubt in your mind,
that you can trust them,
when trusting someone is so hard to do.
Someone who can walk right through those walls

you built up around you to keep out all the pain.
So, if you are lucky enough to find this special someone,
let them know how much you cherish their friendship
and how you love them dearly.
But, most of all hold on to them tight
and never let them go.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
