Sorry

Day after day
I wake as from a dream
That I wish could become a reality
Yet knowing it will forever be a dream
A reverie in knowing your gone
Breaking me piece by piece
Making me slowly crumble into nothing
While I gaze into your eyes
I see a dream that forever will be a dream
You slowly created who I am today
While I slowly destroyed everything
Trying to make you happy
All I did was make you angry
There is only one thing I can say
That is I'm sorry
That there never will be a tomorrow
For you will be gone
Gone yet not forgotten

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
