    Stripped

I am a lady who wears a disguise.
This whore who protects me is beginning to fail.
Realizing the error of my ways, the mask is lost.
Beneath this costume, lies a truth.
Halloween is over, I feel naked.

So this whole thing is about halloween? Or is it just being used as a symbol for your pain? Interesting.

Very good. I also like the last line, particularly after the first.

Very nice indeed - brevity with absolutely nothing lost. Well done, keep it up.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
