    Submission's Prayer

    Submission’s Prayer

    Control these contemplations

    Existing inside my head;

    Eradicate the doubts

    Within my soul by

    Giving me a

    A ray of hope instead.

    Stifle the screaming

    Voices of unbelief and fear;

    Free me from abandon

    In my circumstance,

    Knowing you are near.

    Wrestle my willfulness

    To turn and run away;

    Alter my altruisms by

    Giving me a

    Spirit of obedience

    That will always stay.

    Fortune this fragile

    Being by bringing new

    Life and meaning to

    The rest-less child

    That’s been fighting

    For too long-

    I like how it was put together, the feeling and idea. I value the message because it has a personal inspirational message for me in my life. Nice poem!
