    Poem Commentary

    I find it hard to live each day at a time. I never thought I would miss someone this much. The pain can be unbearable at times. Just wish we could see each other again. I have to wait 2 months before we can see each other. Feels like an eternity away. No contact at all until then. Wish I could just forget about it.

    Summer Without You

    Emptiness surrounds me
    Without you here
    My smiles mean nothing
    Happiness is gone
    Without you I am alone
    Helpless
    Sad
    When will the pain end
    Take me away
    Allow me to feel the light of day
    Without you here
    It is always rain
    No sun
    No glimmer of hope
    No peace
    Love
    Joy
    Nothing but myself
    Left to cope
    Days seem like years
    When will I see you
    When will there be no more tears
    We will continue on
    Our separate lives to live
    I will see you soon
    My friend
    Until each other we can give
