    SUN

    SUN

Look into the sun but not too much,

Walk around the beach on the sand at night,

    Listened to the waves,

    Hold you in my arms,

I never took time to do this,

I was to busy trying to be cool,

But now I am all alone with out a clue,

    I wish I wasn’t just a dumb fool,

    But that’s what I wanted that’s what I needed,

    Now is to late,

I wish I could repeat it,

    Because you were my fame,

    Show you I change,

And you see it in your heart to hold my hand,

    Once again.

I like the use of nature in this poem. Very good.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
