    Teardrop

A single tear rolled down her cheek, and with a hand she wiped it away.
An end of pain for her I seek. The anguish I feel I cannot say.
Her hand touched glass across from me. My heart it ripped itself in two.
The wrong I did is plain to see, Oh how I wish I could start anew.
But here I sit, and there you are. Across from me, a wall between.
So very near, but then so far. I long to leave this saddening scene.
The steel, the glass, keeps me here to stay. I see your face, so soft, so sweet.
The nightmare screams to me each day. Without you I will never be complete.
My mind does spin. My heart does ache. My souls alone, my life stands still.
I need you girl, for my own sake. Without you I will never be complete.
A single tear roll down your cheek. Your hand touches glass across from me.
An end of pain for you I seek. I love you girl, why cant you see?
