    The Beauty Of A Princess

    Magical days await me
    All through this special year
    My princess getting married
    Her crowning day draws near
My love for her is endless
And comes straight from my soul
    The times we are together
Are times that I feel whole
Her early years spent in my arms
    Curled up in bed
    So innocent and fragile
    Golden hair upon her head
    And then the slow transition
    From baby into girl
    Earrings hanging from her ears
Her straight hair starts to curl
A smile that lights up any room
    Moonlit eyes of blue
    The beauty of a princess
    About to say “ I do “
I’ll walk her down the aisle
Then turn and look at her
Lift her veil and take a kiss
And then my eyes will blur
    My heart will be exploding
    As she becomes his wife
Please god reach down and bless them
Keep them as one for life

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
