    The Child Within

The child within is trying to get out,
She's too deep and too weak
I can feel her but, she don't speak
She's hiding, the tears are blinding
She hates the world for what she keeps, she tried to speak
Now it's to late, she can't wait
She's left this world, yet she can hear but can't feel.

I think that this poem was to much like a paragraph in a book instead of a poem

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
