    The Father and The Mother

Your name was known before your mother uttered it

     His work was done

    Hers had just begun

    His works would come

     Hers were to keep

    His words were written

      Hers were learned.

    His he gave her

    Too you, Hers were understood

    Fight ensued

      Fight progressed

       Fight

        Fight

         Fight

She prayed and prayed for you

    he fought and fought

    Father & Mother prayed

    I have lost my life

     Life to the world

     Worldly thoughts diminish

I have won my life in Him through Her.

wow i dont really know what to say to this poem, it was great dont get me wrong, it just that you have a really unique style and i have not read other poets poem that r similarr to your, they seem to be to be your thoughts exactly how they r in ur mind on paper. but ant way great poem

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
