    I wanna be the girl he thinks about
    The one he can't get off his mind
    I wanna be the one he reaches for when he's with friends
    When he sees me walking up to him

    But instead

    I'm the one he goes to, to talk about the girl he thinks about
    the one he can't get off his mind
    The friend at his side when he reaches for her
    When he sees her walking up to him

    I wanna be that girl not just his friend
    But much much more
