    The Power In My Hips

I grin and nod in agreement

    while expletives

form a soul train line in my head

I wasn't in the mood for arm wrestling

besides            I don't want you to know

    how strong I am

that will just make you puff up

    like a frightened lynx

    it's much easier to acquiesce

    and let white flags

    dangle from my earrings

as I plan my next move

    to overthrow the king

    and rule

    the

    world

A pretty clear statement of intent, and done with style, too. Just one thing you gotta remember when you overthrow the king: "Uneasy lays the head that wears the crown," just ask your predecessor.

MY HOPES AND PRAYERS ARE THAT YOUR INATE TALENT WOULD BE AND SHOULD BE USED FOR THE EXTENTION AND FURTHERMNET OF THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS THE LIVING GOD,TO REMOVE THE BINDS OF THE ADVERSARY,THEN RULE WITH THE ALLMIGHTY ,KING JESUS.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
