~THE POWER OF WORDS~

~THE POWER OF WORDS~

I am so very thankful,

for the gift my God bestowed;

Upon a simple person,

the,“ Me”, I’ve come to know.

~

The words in which He gives to me,

touch Lives, and Hearts and Souls;

In a way that is more valuable,

than Money, Gems or Gold.

~

Grown men are known to fall,

upon their humbled knee’s;

The power of these words I pen,

cause them to softly weep.

~

They’re messages from God,

I write for all to read;

In obeisance of my Father,

to set His Captive’s free.

~

There is no greater power,

than words, I do believe;

And I’m so very thankful,

God gave this Gift to me.

It is a gift. Everyone cannot pick up a pen and change someone else life, make the difference with the right word or inspire someone enough for them to find purpose. Yes its a gift.

This one is also very good, and it show your talent and it is something you have as a god given gift from inside, In my opion is very different from all the other poems and lyrics because it says a lot just the title ! Hugz and Kisses to you WP

I appreciate your comments, thank you very much...Hugz...Jillian

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
