    The Rain Is Here

    I'm here in this house.
    I'm here in this room.
    Alone with my thoughts,
With the rain and the gloom.

    I know I cannot,
But I feel like I can,
See you, as you read this,
Your blue eyes, as they scan.

And I reach out my thoughts,
    As if to find yours,
To hold and to hug them,
    And unlock our mind's doors.

Because if for only a minute,
    You knew how I thought,
How I felt, How I cared.
    How I am so distraught.

If you just knew the feeling,
Just the touch of your hand.
When our fingers lock, its uplifting.
    I don't have to understand.

    You are my hands.
    You are my feet.
    Without you,
    I'm incomplete.

Cool, but would have loved more details. Overall it's ok. Keep writing I am enjoying your pieces.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
