The Rose of Destiny

    The Rose of Destiny

Walking down a lonely lane. A single rose in her hand displayed. As she walks she says these words" Rose, Rose, where can he be? How can i find my way to thee?"

She stops to listen, her eyes they glisten. The Rose it seems didn't listen. She walks on and says these words" Rose, Rose, why don' you listen? My heart was sent here on this mission."

She stops again and has to wonder if this is a spell that she is under. The Rose just stays and doesn't say.

Now the girl is really sad for she fears that she won't find the love of her lad. She stops again and says these words" Rose, Rose, what good are you? I've asked you twice what should i do?"

She stands in silence rose in hand. She wonders if she'll find her man. As she stands there the Rose starts glowing, in the sky these words are showing," As my petals fall to the ground follow the path in which they land. If the last one does not fall it wasn't meant for it to be at all."

Oh my goddess! That poem is great! It gave me chills when I got to the second paragraph!! Keep up the good work

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
