     The Soul's Way

    Present echoes the past
    One journery yet many paths
    Intertwined and combined
    The soul's way is to understand
    Finding answers that are learned in time
    Love complete is what wisdom seeks
    To be tested, tried, and purified
    Listen, watch, and sense
    All the truth that is meant
    Eternal knowledge that is kept
    Understood at its very depth

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
