The Teacher

The Teacher

When I cried
You wiped my tears
When I laughed
A hug you spared.
When I fell
You picked me up
For every moment
You have touched.
When the sun shone
From above,
You parted the clouds
Of disparities love.
When the birds sang
Of true love’s song,
In my heart you belonged.
When I reached for
Your soft hand unknown,
Your grasp I felt
As I no longer walked alone.
When I knelt upon Heaven’s sand,
You were my answer to
The Teacher’s plan.
