This New Darkness

This New Darkness

Shadows covering the once,
Bright light of my hope.
Snuffing out the,
Burning fire of my life.
Pushing my dreams aside,
And twisting my thoughts.
This new darkness,
Is stronger than the old.
It will be hard,
But I will fight,
Every night,
And every day,
Until this new darkness,
Fades away.
