    To Late

You said you'd never hit me.
    You promised, pleaded, you swore.
And after you hit me the first time
You said you'd hit me no more.
You said you'd never hit me,
But it seems thats all you do.
You said you'd never hit me,
Yet I end up black and blue.
You said you'd never hit me.
    You promised, pleaded, you swore.
Listen when i tell you this,
I'm won't let it happen anymore!
The next time you hit me,
    I'm walking out that door.
You said you'd never hit me.
    You promised, pleaded, you swore.
I guess I waited to long to leave,
    Because I'm not here anymore.

Hi there, hpe it looks like a poem than a beautiful song, cos rhymes fit it better. good job anyway.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
