    Treasure

Today I told you that I care...
Knowing full well that you didn't want to hear.
    Because caring I think,
    causes you fear.
    Having heard this before,
    before there was fear.
Then giving your heart when caring was false.
This can be devistating as I well know.
I too have let my heart go.
    But never fear,
I am a friend that holds you dear.
I will not care then rip it away.
Even if you move 10 states away.
My friendship is true, always and forever.
    Because you my friend,
    are a treasure...

very nice, i know the fear.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
