    undissapointing the dissapointed

[my intensions of being a writer are very high got

my head pointed towards the sky my words flow like a mother

singing her child a lulaby.. this poerty thing isnt just a faze im

entering like adolencents and clothes.. poetry is a part of me which

grows as if it were apart of my body. its a gift.. a passion.. a talent..

somthing to keep me occupied so i stay out of trouble yes.. but thats how

it started out to be.. i realized that i could write for other peoples

understandings and write like it was someone else telling the story..

so as i sit in my room i wonder why i never picked up a pencil and

paper when i was younger.. because i feel that if i did i wouldnt have

got into much trouble as i did before.. would have never made my mom cry

unless she was touched by my poems.. never would have lost trust in my dad

unless i didnt write what was appropreate.. never would have lost faith from

my fam unless i lost my talent to write.. ]

Beautiful!! i love it. writing is a part of your life. i wonder the same thing. i wonder if i wasnt so angry at the world and so damaged and hurt, if i would have ever took my moms advice and pick up that pencil. love it.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
