Unstoppable force vs. Immovable object

Unstoppable force vs. Immovable object

Staring in the face of  defeat but odds have never mattered
we’ve been battered and bruised,
Used and worn out souls
we've worn out the soles of Pumped up kicks, and Blue suede shoes
As we move these holes in our insoles are only getting bigger,
but quitters never win and winners never lose
and they don't always win, so here's the kicker
they learn and keep that fire burning
Deep souls in deepr holes rolling in the deep
rolling over tacks on four flats just keep those wheels turning,
momentum is our advantage,
an object in motion, an unstoppable force
so when we meet immoveable objects it’s just a detour
no more than cause for change of course,
If we should collide, we’ll prove an immovable truth,
immovable’s a lie, this path is only governed by time
so fall in line or fall out,
no breaks, no brakes ,
full speed, we're all in, It’s all out

Just as your words suggest movement, there's an undeniable rhythm in your poem. Love it!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
