    in the midnight blue
    where dreams are born
    of kaleidoscopic colors both warm and cool
    vivid intricate hues
    bathing the black smooth corners
    with bright prisms
    of endless beauty
    your face
    is at once dark then pale
    deep magenta
    into lightest gold
    eyes flashing
    dancing on rainbows
    with acrobatic ease
    sensual gliding
    in rounded poses
    of muscle and flesh
    skin gleaming
    teeth like diamonds
    arms outstretched
    as we blend together
    in eternitys' plan
    sparks fly in the moonglow
    when we rise
    cries and whispers
    among the shooting stars
    the planets call us by name
    our fingertips
    now intertwined
    we move with ease
    in swirls of grandeur
    as destiny
    awaits.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
