WE MAY HEAL AGAIN

WE MAY HEAL AGAIN

A baby crying in a smoke filled house,

Burning flames all around

A firefighter trying to put the fire out,

as the walls start falling down

He fights in and attempt to win this bout,

and in the corner is where his body is found

~CHORUS~

A firefighter gives his life in the end,

as he’s trapped in a burning building

It is so sad a battle he could not win;

to the church to try and heal our souls again …someday…

We may heal again…

A woman held by a masked man, as he waves a gun around

A police officer trying to save her, as he hears a loud sound

He looks at his chest that is now stained red, as his knees hit the cold ground

When back up arrives at the scene,

the front of the store is where his body is found

~CHORUS~

A police officer gives his life in the end,

as he tries to control the scene

It is so sad a battle he could not win,

to the church to try to heal our souls again

Someday…We may heal again

Two young soldiers in a land full of death,

they cling to one another afraid

Gunfire going off overhead,

as the enemy pushed forth their raid

This battle is going to be a bad one,

Said one through her breath,

A flash goes off in the air,

and no one hears their screaming cry

A patrol comes for the survivors,

and searches the land all around

There in the open desert…

Is where the bodies laying still….. are found…

Two solders give their lives in the end,

as the people there were misleading

A battle waged by the hateful to win,

to the church to try to heal our souls again

Someday…We may heal again…

The evil in this world is put in its place,

but sometimes it gets its way

They live their lives without conscience or disgrace,

Burning hopes and dreams away

They live for the moment as we pray,

till they are placed down to rot away

Then goodness takes it over and then they know

And on the news you see…

The hero’s of the day…

Someday we may heal again…

Heal again…heal again

(Cont.)

A solder gives his life for a friend

A firefighter runs inside a burning building

A policeman tried the bad that’s trying to win

To the church to attempt healing our souls again…

Someday…we may heal again…

Heal again…

Dedicated to all the firefighters, policemen, soldiers

And anyone who gave their lives for the good of another

MAY WE SOMEDAY HEAL AGAIN……

For the policemen and women, fire fighters,

and most of all the troops who keep us safe…

Thank you all…

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
