    WIND THROUGH MY HEART

I sit here feeling afraid, what am I do do?
There  is an emptiness in my soul.

Today, a very special person in my life told me about their hurt, unbelievable to me.
Sadness overwhelmes me, tears run down from my eyes.

Please don't let this be, I pray deeply, passionately, trying to understand.
An instant hole in my heart burns within.

The wind blows through the hole in my heart, aching, not wanting this extreme pain.
So coldly, stinging, crying out, please don't let this be.

I must somehow redeem htis hole in my heart.
This wind through my heart has to stop, I no longer want it's burning.

What can I do?, I have no real answer.
Time must go on, as I should believe.
This hole in my heart shall heal slowly by the love I have for this special peron.

What can I do?, I have no real answer.
Time must go on, I shall believe.
Wind through my heart shall no more be, for the love I have for this special person.

Wow thats a sad poem. I can feel the pain in it. I loved it. Great job.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
