    Without A Doubt

If your eyes don't open come sun up
If your chest does not rise and fall
If your heart doesn't pump, when the sun says "good morning"
Will everyone know without a doubt?
Will they be able to whisper "journey well"
With no wonder in their hearts
When tears spill will it be for only the loss of missing you
Or will confusion and frustrations also linger in those tears
When you journey ensure no one is left wondering
We hide, we keep ourselves sheltered under the guise of protecting ourselves
    ----For what?
So in the end the ones who can't join in our journey can ponder
    Can always be left wondering
Close your eyes, but open your heart
    Let there be no wondering
No riddle still needing to be solved
In the end 'without a doubt' is all that matters

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
