    Without his light

A rainy day to start my life.

My sons first birthday without his light.

I, wish to hold him and watch him laugh.

But I, cannot stand to see this pass.

    No walks in the park.

    No ice-cream after a game.

Just a heart stricken father who’s heart is full of pain.

I, wish to hold him and kiss him goodnight.

    On my sons first birthday.

    He's without his light.

sorta been there. hate that there is this kind of pain, but its all too real unfortunatly. very sad, but a good poem.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
