    Without the Love of God.

    I have given up
    the fight
    against Your will
    for in the end
    I end up
    still searching for that
    which is not;
    loving that which cannot love
for he seeks too much to be loved of himself.

    He knows not
    to love freely
    not seeking love in return.
    He has not realized
that self love will sustain him.

    For indeed,
how can he love someone as himself
    having no love for himself?

    Everything he touches
    he destroys with lust
even the fruit of his hands are cursed
for love is not shed abroad in his heart.

How can he prosper without the Love of God?

this is really good and asks a great question

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
