    Word Pall

    People enjoy watching people,
    judging a jogger's gate,
    cloth, teeth, hair,...
    so many foreheads:
    Pillow wrinkles or puzzlement,
    IRS fret or booze headache.

    Park bench or phone booth,
    stroller seat or cardboard
    box, eyes read a language
    of motion, their own cryptic
    bias deciphering, and breaking
    every personal code.

    He doesn't want his wife
    to know something.
That guy just put his dog down.
The old man is stingy, his hat's
    too tight, lady stiletto's boyfriend
just told her that he has chlamydia.
Gum on a sneaker, lint on a hem,
    the sour smell of urine
    without the fresh stain.

But the moment we put people
    into words choose the words
    to paint impression, we are
    wrong; distorting the visual
    ruining the brain flick
    Bread crumb deconstruction
    under the crunch

Could picture you sitting on a bench in the park, watching people go by. Good stuff. TS
