Dear Jesus,

Thank you for all you do for my family and me.

Please help me to stay strong when the ground is shaky beneath me.

Help me my Lord to be mighty as you when the strong winds come.

Please my lord, when the rain pours and floods on me,

Let the rainbow appear to remind me that you are here with me.

When dark clouds roll in and blackness is about,

 Let your light shine through me so others can see;

I am weak, human is me, my spirit is alive since you came to dwell in me.

Give me the words which to say, cover my sin with the cross before me.

I dare not want to lead anyone the wrong way.

I want the joy and peace to overflow into others which you have given me.

Forgive me Lord when I grow tired and weary and speak my own words of defeat.

I know I am dead as the old me. When I try on my own, I fail because my body is so weak.

 I have new life in you which make my desire so strong to live and give to others I meet.

My lord for all the things you do, I can never thank you enough, praise you enough, or love you as much as you do me.

You have everything, so I too have everything in you. So with my heart, dear Lord I thank you for all you do for my family and me.
