ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A GIRL NOT SO FREE.
PAY ATTENTION, YOUNG ONES, TO THIS GIRL AND YOU’LL SEE.
SHE LOST HER HEART, THOUGHT GOD TOOK IT AWAY. FOR HER GRANDMOTHER WAS GONE, NOT FOREVER HERE TO STAY.
SHE TOLD EVERYONE, "IT’S OKAY", "I AM FINE" SMILED AND LAUGHED WHILE INSIDE SLOWLY DYING.
ONE DAY THIS GIRL SAID "I CAT TAKE IT", "I HAVE TO BE FREE!", SO SHE LEFT RUNNING FAST TO AN UNKNOWN DESTINY.
SHE CAME ACROSS A MAN, JUST AS SWEET AS HE COULD BE. YET HE STOLE WHAT WAS HERS UNDERNEATH A STARRY SEA.
NEXT DAY, MEN IN BLACK TOOK HER BACK TO HER CONFINEMENT. FIVE MONTHS LATER SHE HEARS,"I AM SORRY MISS YOUR PREGNANT."
"HELL NO! WHAT WILL I TELL THEM?" SHE CRIES. WHILE ALL THE TIME HER SALVATION GROWS INSIDE.
ON APRIL 7, 97’ HE ARRIVED.
THEY SAID,"SHE’LL NEVER MAKE IT." "THEY’LL NEVER SURVIVE."
BUT, SHE STAYED STRONG, YES, SHE HELD HER HEAD HIGH. DOING EVERYTHING NECESSARY FOR THE CHILD TO STAY ALIVE.
NOW HERE COMES THE PART WHERE IT REALLY GETS BAD,BUT DON'T GET TEARY EYED IT’S REALLY NOT THAT SAD.
ONE DAY SHE IS DRIVING, STOPS, LOOKS TO THE SIDE, AND SEES THOSE SAME DIMPLES AND THOSE SAME CHOCOLATE EYES.
SHE DOES NOT START RUNNING, FOR SHE IS NOT SCARED. IF NOT FOR THOSE EYES AND DIMPLES, WHAT OF THE BOY FOR WHOM SHE CARES?
SO SHE APPROACHED HIM, WITH ALL HER STRENGTH AND PRIDE, AND SAID "PLEASE LOOK AT THIS BOY I CARRIED NINE MONTHS INSIDE. EVEN THOUGH HE IS A YEAR OLD AND PAST, I FEEL I CANNOT BE AS COLD AS YOUR SCANDALOUS ASS."
"YOU HURT ME SO BAD THIS I WILL SAY, WHAT YOU TOOK FROM ME THEN I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE AWAY, BUT I FORGIVE YOU I DO FOR ALL THAT YOU’VE DONE. BECAUSE WITHOUT YOUR MISTAKE I WOULD NOT HAVE MY SON."
"SO PLEASE, PLEASE SIR LOOK AT THIS BOY AND I PRAY ONE DAY YOU MAY SHARE IN HIS JOY."
"I WILL NEVER SPEAK A FOUL WORD AGAINST YOU, OF HARM OR OF STRIFE, BECAUSE EVERY LITTLE BOY DESERVES A FATHER IN HIS LIFE."
NOW I ASK YOU PEOPLE, DID YOU LISTEN CAREFULLY? BECAUSE THE STRONG, 15 YEAR OLD GIRL IN THIS STORY WAS.....
ME.
