    A Mother's Love (Original)

     A Mother's Love

    A mother does know unconditional love
    As the stars own their space in the skies above
    A couple that spends their silver then golden being true  
    Acknowledges the truth of unconditional love, as skies are blue 

    A mother does envelop that love so, so soon 
    Caring, nurturing, protecting, loving while still in the womb 
    Parenting couples love unconditionally with no exception
    The child created through love at the conception 

    Parents guide their child in a love-filled home
    Swaddled in love that earns respect  
    Given time, they learn the love they accept 
    Returning the love, they're quite adept 

    Jesus, please grant us the love our Mother does know
    The unconditional love that helped us grow
    To pick ourselves up if we should ever fail
    With all the love, unconditionally hails

                               Amen
