D.C. Homeless
Hear the Child's lonesome pleas!!!Alone in the decay of decadence; she stands.
Lips bloodied, dried and cracked; she thirsts.
Last meal was moreover a day past; she hungers.
Can o' beans warmed over sterno; she eats.
One sorrowful tear trickles down her angelic face,
Remembrances of happier times and places; she dreams.....
She dreams for the warm bed that kept her safe.
Her home, the open skies near the outskirts of the city.
Occurring in the greatest Capitol on Earth;
She's Homeless!
