Disdained
DisdainedWhen in our youth, so so much younger, older than Dad's little princess
Mom's golden boy, playing the games of life, their favorite joy
Societies mind of proper, of the who of whos, setting their son or daughter
The better of the whom of whom is right for their world, not yours
Confiscated tears from my pillowcase, a prerequisite of my love's heart
Taken away, placed in a mare's nest, just a beginning for the new start
A quagmired soul commandeered, sequestered, and distrained
Repayment of an angelic part given freely on the open mart
Encased and engulfed in misery when will this love be heartbroken freed
From the bounds of this lonely world bitterly sweetened slowly turned
Oh do run, as one, as fast as you can never looking back never take the stand
Remember for yourselves all life's decisions are in your capable hands
