    Darkness Feeds

     Darkness Feeds

    Blacker than the blackest pitch, darker than the darkest plight
    The last light of day breaks shading the shadowless sight
    Swallowing consuming purity from all that is righteous 
    Degrading masses in hellfire spawns the coming night
    Darkness all abound surrounds all spindling downward
    She comes out of the shadows as in a dream stalking 
    Looking desperately for the one evading her grasp
    Bordering on a lunatic's fringe, devouring, hunting,
    Pleasing her until her hunger binge fulfills her whim 
    A step through the Darkness to the Darkside... 
    Where everything is surreal
