    Abandon

    Lovely hands and graceful lips,
    suppressed and tangled for fictitious bliss.
    A keen and creative brain,
    restrained and abandoned for a silly game.

    But what use is a faculty if unemployed?
    Without uncertainty I tell you, null and void.
    What worth is a promise if unfulfilled?
    Barren land differ not much from fertile land untilled.

    What arrogance it is to boast
    of the knowledge and potential you think you host.
    'Tis easy but foolish to forget
    that knowledge and wisdom are disparate.

    Wise choices aren't hard to make,
    but impetuous decisions are easier to take.
    It is blind and absurd to say,
    that there is no fault in such a way.

    thanks. =)

    Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
