Break free
I want to run
as far as I can,
Away from this place
to never see it again.
But the more I try
to break free from here,
the more I get tangled
to the roots of this fear.
Where can I go?
Who do I run to?
When do I stop?
Or shall I forever continue?
My mind is a mess.
My heart is broken.
My thoughts are in chaos.
My emotions dark and sunken.
Tell me, how can I run?
When my feet are planted to the ground.
Show me, how can I break free?
When the key to this lock can never be found.
It started with a seed,
that slowly grew into a tree.
Only now did i notice,
now that i can no longer flee…
