    Poem Commentary

    (I was writing this while going around the supermarket with my mom. ;p  It still need refining but I’m feeling lazy tonight.)

    Lucky you

    I looked above and below,
    and in places you’d never know.
    I looked beside and behind,
    and there was nothing I could find.
    There wasn’t the slightest clue
    as to why I am, in love with you.

    You see, you’re not that noble,
    in fact, you’re trouble.
    You’re far from the ideal guy;
    you’re the type who make girls cry.
    My friends can’t believe it too,
    I can’t possibly be, in love with you.

    But this feelings I have for you,
    neither old nor new.
    It’s there and it’s true,
    and there’s nothing I can do.
    I can deny it ‘till I’m blue;
    No I’m not, not in love with you.

    No matter how much I try
    I just can’t find a reason why.
    So why spend so much time,
    thinking of a lot of rhyme,
    just to say a thing or two,
    about why I shouldn’t be, in love with you.
