    Behind These Eyes

    Behind these eyes,
    there is hurt and pain.

    Behind these eyes,
    there is distrust and loss.

    Tears just waiting to be spilled.
    words just wanting to leak from this mouth.

    Nobody the severity of this condition.
    Exaustion, restlessness, depression...
    pulling me down.

    So tightly wound together inside,
    behind these uncertain, searching eyes

    Unknowing and seeking.....seeking.....seeking......
    what exactly?.....love?...trust?...certainty.

    Behind these eyes there is sorrow,
    waiting to be let out....behind these eyes....

    My eyes.

    thank you. i think its one one my best peices. its like the story of my life i guess you could say.
