    Poem Commentary

    the story behind this is that i kept dating all the jerks and dirt bags and when i needed someone to tell me everything would be ok when something went wrong, my best friend gave me a shoulder to cry on. now i new that he had stronger feelings for me then i let myself believe. but i didnt care. i was to afraid to screw up our friendship. but by doing that i almost did lose him. and he waited for me. he didnt want anyone but me. i was the only girl he saw and he didnt stop trying. and then one day i realized, i do want to be more then just friends. and now that we are, i couldnt be happier. I love you Mario. thank you for not quitting.

    I’ve finally found it

    What I’ve been looking for all along.

    How could I have not seen what was right in front of me the whole time?

    Every time I looked back over my shoulder he was there.

    There to catch me.

    There to hold me.

    There to tell me everything was alright.

    I didn’t know what I was missing.

    But now that I’ve found you,

    I never want to let you go.

    I wanna hold you close and whisper in your ear,

    “I love you”
