Beyond the whispering wind

Poem Commentary

The desire to make amends. Hearts are fragile things that we need to take care of.

Beyond the whispering wind

Time stands still beyond the whispering wind

I hear your heartbeat call to me from within

I search the azure skies but you’re not there

I must send you my plea upon the vapid air

I left you alone and broken hearted

My reasons fail as to why we parted

I pray I haven’t lost the best part of me
Give me one last chance to make you happy

Time let me see the error of my ways

Now please forgive me for those absent days

I promise these are the last tears you’ll cry

I’ll make sure this is our last kiss goodbye

Your tender heart I’ll never again break

For, your love I’ll never again forsake

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
