Blood i see.

Blood i see.

Blood is all I can see
Screams is all i can plee
It's all running down my feet
and i fall to the floor feeling as if i was beat
they were only 15 weeks
but they were little babies with hands a face n cheeks
They were cover in blood but still so pure
and in come there daddy coming throught the door
He saw my blood and them with me
and all i can do was Cry "Sorry"
He started to cry and came to me
He couldn't say a word and didn't even try

Blood was all we can see
Dripping down my legs
and all over the babies
He took them from me
and just walked away
I closed my eyes and I prayed

..so i opened my eyes..

Blood was all I can see,
dripping down my legs
and covering the floor.
I looked around as I tryed and crawled.
Our white walls had my bloody hand prints as I stood up
I fel to my knees grabbed my stomach
And for hours all I did was cry
Knowing they were gone
Left me wanting to die..

I didn't talk for two days
haden't left my room at all
Haven't had a thing to eat
I just let my tears fall

months have passed since that 5th of may
but it flashes in mind like it was just today!

What a memory of pain. In a way I wish i could erase it from your mind but if that would happen there wouldn't be such depth to your writing. This is sad, tragic even, but the love for your lost ones is deeply embedded in your heart. I know you will love them forever that is the true mark of a mother. My prayers as always for you

Depth of emotion that is understandable in such situation and a tragic event for any woman. I wish you were attended to and not left alone to bleed and suffer. Your husband should have had a better role.

Rich poem with powerful imagery. So were you having a baby at the time when you wrote this? The centre part of your poem was a little confusing.

thanks 4 ur comment!sorry it was abit confusing so i edited it! is it ok now???

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
