BURSED

You left with no warning
not even a letter
just to jump broad and elope with her
and the funny thing is
I was there
When you was laid up in a hospital bed
in acing pain for weeks
I still remained true
With a busted lip
bruised up arms and legs
and a blackened eye
I never left your side
Even when you beat me til I bleed
then raped me and made me give you head
And after a few months of sickness
my breast and stomach begin to swell
I love and trusted you
but all you could do was use me as a punching bag
But that was then
try it now
The tables have turned
now its your turn to feel what i felt
All the pain, tears, and lonely nights
hows married life?
And for our child
he's doing alright
After all that you think I'ma take you back
Just take that beating form your wife.

You hang in there Aneesha!! I believe in karma and I believe in "what goes around comes around". You are a very strong woman, don't ever let ANY man take that from you. He did you a favor by leaving, you are way too good for him and someday you will find "real" love and know in your heart that a real man never lays a hand on a woman except with a gentle touch. Peace and Love, Prettypoetcindy

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
