the strom

the strom

as the wonder begin to blow
and the rain begin to trickle down
i wonder who's crying right now
the sun beaming on my face
the trees begin to sway
cars & trucks passing by
people saying hi
paper, leaves, and many other things
moved about the ground
no birds seem to be flying around
the sky is slightly roaring
as the clouds begin to darken
some body's live is drastically changing
a child is hiding form the pain and fear that's coming
the days are long
the nights are short
my mind is racing
as my feet are pacing
what is this feeling that has overwhelmed me
the darkened clouds begin to cover
the light blue sky
figures begin to from in them
for five long days
and four long nights
the strom comes here and there
mother nature has her ways
the roaring stops
as the lighting striks the sky
the wind is now ferce than ever
the trees sway even more
the child is no loger hiding
but the strom is almost over
just a little while loner
the sun will come out to play
and the stars & moon shall dance again

There is a good harmony between your images. Moreover, your poem has the enough power to keep it's reader till the end.

Lots of nice images float through my mind while reading this. May I suggest you reread before posting, quite a few mistakes, including the title! Love how you can paint a picture with words.

thanks

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
