Can't Hold On

I can’t hold on to you anymore.
This heartache can’t occur again and have it become worse than before.
I have to escape these thoughts of you
They won’t ever come true.
I’ve let this linger for way too long and now I have to move on and be strong.
Nothing is worth holding onto if its not meant to be.
So when you look into my eyes you’ll see how much pain I’ve suffered and will always have the memories.
Part of me will always care.
Forever I’ll be there.
